Walking around Gotanda Station, Oniyanma suddenly caught my eye.
It’s so good it just pulls you in, like a Dyson vacuum.

Oniyanma @ Gotanda/Tokyo
I usually stick to hot udon, but I just realized they also have a cold version.

The ticket machine has been upgraded, and cash isn’t accepted anymore.
I pressed the button for cold oroshi udon with tori-ten.
As always, the place moves at lightning speed, and the wait was gone in an instant.
From entering the shop to the bowl landing in front of me — 10 seconds.
So fast!

It seems like the order goes through as soon as you buy the ticket, so there’s no back-and-forth like before.
The serving speed has also gotten even faster than it used to be.

Tori-ten(Chiken Tempura)
Freshly fried, crispy, and as delicious as ever.
I almost want to take it home and make a tori-ten rice bowl.
The peppery seasoning adds a nice kick, and it would probably pair well as a snack with drinks too.

Cold Oroshi Udon
Squeeze some kabosu and drizzle a bit of soy sauce over it before digging in.
I slurped it up so fast that some noodles even splashed onto my face.
The noodles are springy, chewy, and full of bite — absolutely irresistible.
The cold noodles feel refreshing and smooth going down.
Honestly, I could eat this three times a week for that fresh, cooling feeling.
As always, Oniyanma in Gotanda is my favorite.
That was delicious!
