Chicken over rice usually feels hard to mess up, but we figured it was worth a try.
A little while later — ding dong.
It arrived.

Chicken Over Rice (around ¥1,000)
It felt surprisingly heavy the moment we picked it up — a solid portion.
The presentation was clean and well put together, with plenty of visual impact.

The base sauce tastes like a yogurt–mayo blend, and it pairs perfectly with the spiced chicken.

The chicken comes in large, dice-cut chunks, well seasoned with spices.
Bite into it and the fibers almost fall apart — really tender.
The sauce is rich, yet surprisingly clean on the finish.
It’s definitely on the junk-food side, but in the best way — gone in no time.
A hint of cumin adds a nice accent.
Chicken over rice wasn’t something I was very familiar with, but this one totally won me over.
Thanks for the meal!
